Raffles Dialogue 2018
The 3rd Raffles Dialogue on the Future of Human Well-Being and Security (HWS): Towards Resilient and Empowered Societies seeks to tackle multiple challenges central to sustainable and equitable human development through initiatives such as mitigating the ill-effects of globalisation, dealing with climate change and the health of the planet as a whole.
Solutions include developing effective and relevant technologies through a robust research endeavour, delivering quality healthcare and education, ensuring international cooperation and goodwill, and building effective global institutions which provide strong governance.
The Dialogue is jointly organised by the National University Health System (NUHS) together with the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. The 3rd Raffles Dialogue is supported by the Ministry of Health (MOH), Singapore.
