CHAIRMAN’S WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organising Council, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd Raffles Dialogue on the Future of Human Well-Being and Security (HWS): Towards Resilient and Empowered Societies, 27th to 28th November 2018 in Singapore. This is the third time that Singapore will be hosting this meeting.

The 3rd Raffles Dialogue is unique as it will be held back-to-back with the Singapore Ministerial Conference on Diabetes, a global challenge in most societies. The Dialogue has five different sessions: Singapore’s Role in Global Health and Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, Responsible Business for Sustainable Development, The Future of Humankind – What it Means to be Human, Global Grand Challenges: Healthy Longevity, and Towards Resilient and Empowered Societies. Through these sessions, we aim to address key issues which have the potential to affect human well-being and security in the coming decades.

We have brought together speakers and panellists with different expertise for discussions with the audience to spark thoughtful analysis relating to the Future of Human Well-Being and Security.

My Organising Council and I look forward to welcoming you to the Raffles Dialogue 2018 in Singapore!

With warmest regards,
